My three books are fictionalized memoirs based on my jounrals during the 80's when I lived in the National Forests in Eastern Oregon doing timber stand exams in the Wallow Whitman National Forest and in Wilderness areas near the notorious Snake River Hells Canyon area. This book is called "From the Waters of Coyote Springs" then my second book called "Felix and Eve" is when i stayed a summer on the southern coast of Oregon with an elderly man as his live in caregiver. These two people are the most unlikeliest to live together, from vastly different generations. He tells her stories of the "good ole days" when he worked in Al Capone's breweries in Chicago. Eve is a counterculture, self-reliant woman raised during the seventies when women were forgoing having families and chose to travel and exist totally on their own.
The third book "The Arrangement" is about a retired Eve living in Eugene, Oregon who receives a letter with a skeleton key which sends her down to Catalina Island off the coast of California. There she stays with an old friend in a seaside bungalow and rekindles the friendship that spans decades with a man living with a disease that is taking away his abilities to walk. Come join in on the sometimes funny relationship they have and his friends that come by to add sparkle to her three month stay each year.
